‘Thornton Lodge’, a luxury detached bungalow situated just outside St Merryn Village in a quieter setting, 3 miles from Padstow, Cornwall. 3 miles to stunning beaches at Harlyon Bay and Constantine Bay, this stretch of coatline having Cornwall's finest beaches. An immaculate bungalow, recently modernised and tastefully refurbished, providing high standard accommodation with appealing furnishings including a leather 3 piece suite. Other beaches within 5 miles such as Trevone. This stretch of beaches and rugged coastline runs almost continuously in an arc all the way from Padstow to Newquay. Padstow is a delightful fishing village, now more widely known courtesy of the T.V. chef Rick Stein who has a fish restaurant in the village. Mackerel fishing trips available from Padstow & there is a ferry which will take you across the estuary to the beaches at Rock. The little village of St Merryn has good pubs, cafes & shops. A short stroll to The Glasshouse restaurant/café with varied menu and good food at a very reasonable rate. The bungalow is in a quiet end of cul-de-sac position and boasts a very private fully enclosed garden with gates, a barbecue area. Easy to keep warm (double glazed).

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds (no wardrobe). Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer & spin dryer. Washing machine. Lounge/diner with T.V.& DVD. WI-FI Internet (bring own laptop). Bathroom with bath, walk in shower unit, toilet & washbasin.

Cottage Facilities

WI-FI Internet (bring own laptop). High Chair (from Jan 5 2019) but no Cot. Electric Key meter (can recharge half a mile away in St Merryn village shop). Wall fitted electric convector heaters in bedrooms and in lounge/diner. Also electric radiators. Double glazed so easy to keep warm.

Miscellaneous Information

Non smoking. Adjacent fenced off the road parking space (can shut car behind gates), with other paking on lane outside. No pets. There is a £60 returnable deposit payable at the same time as the final payment.
