Dairy Cottage, a higher standard detached barn conversion just over one and a half miles from Camelford, North Cornwall and the A39 Atlantic Highway. North Cornwall coastal resorts within easy reach. Boscastle & Tintagel (King Arthurs Castle) are 6 miles, with Wadebridge and Bude beach resort nearby. Good sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand is 6 miles. The cottage has been recently (2014) converted from an old barn and is all ground floor accommodation. There are 3 steps leading from the open plan living area down to the 2 bedrooms and shower room. The living area part of the cottage has the original external exposed stone and the adjoining bedrooms of the cottage is the white rendered part on the right side of the Dairy Cottage photo. There is a front patio area with umbrella, table and chairs. The cottage is just a few miles from Bodmin Moor with its many attractions and great for walkers. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within a short motoring distance. Dairy Cottage is one of three residential properties on Carcade Farm in a peaceful and attractive rural setting with panoramic country views. Pleasant walks on the farm where you can take your dog and enjoy the fine views. There are small adjacent grass areas for children to play on and also a wooded area which children who have visited the cottage have thoroughly enjoyed playing in. Nearby Camelford has a car park with free parking for first 2 hours, a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool,a park (with childrens swings, play frames), shops, restaurants and cafes. A number of other excellent restaurants and gastro pubs are a short drive away. The Camel Cycle Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow (cycle hire in wadebridge) is 10 miles.
