‘Meadow Cottage’, a high standard (refurbished during 2016) and delightful detached bungalow in a country setting near the tiny village of Tideford, 5 miles from Saltash and 9 miles to the fishing village and beach at Looe, South Cornwall. A small bungalow, built approx 12 years ago, one of 3 properties in a quiet rural setting on a country lane. Under 1 mile to Tideford village which has the Rod And Line pub (bar food) and butchers shop. Meadow Cottage has a large front and side patio areas with table and chairs. Good size rear lawn as visible in photos. Whitsand Bay huge sandy beaches (suitable for surfing) 7 miles and Plymouth 7 miles. A scenic area with National Trust and other interesting places in the locality: Nat Trust Cotele House, Weir Quay, Nat Trust Antony House and gardens, river walks at nearby Calstock (scenic Victorian village on banks of river Tamar), Bodmin Moor & the picturesque Tamar Valley. Carp fishing on Bake Lakes 3 miles. Plymouth is worth visiting - for its shops, famous and vibrant Hoe and Barbican waterfront areas (with waterside restaurants, sailing boats, Plymouth Aquarium, The Dome, Elizabethan House, Barbican quaint and individual shops and much more). Also Plymouth Theatre Royal, Nat Trust Saltram House just outside Plymouth (a Georgian Mansion and gardens).
