Primrose Cottage Description

Primrose Cottage is a nicely furnished mid-terraced cottage (one of 3) situated in tiny Lansallos village, 2 and half miles from Polperro & 7 miles from Looe, South Cornwall. An 18th century old world cottage in a quiet setting with some character features-exposed beams in lounge. Lansallos is a rural village (no shops or pubs/cafes), ideal for those wanting the peace and quiet of the countryside. Just under 1 acre of lawns, 1 lawn being very private. Garden table and chairs. A 15 minutes walk to Lansallos beach (allows dogs) via footpath (see photo of beach on page 10); footpaths leading to other mostly secluded beaches and coves. Cliff path walks, rock climbing, beach fishing along this outstanding National Trust coastline with lots of outstanding scenery. Owner lives next door. Being tiny Lansallos has no shops. Polperro is the prettiest & most photogenic of all Cornish fishing villages. Narrow streets. The colour washed cottages cling to the steep sides of a long ravine & surround the harbour. A smugglers museum. Chat to the fishermen, or watch the catches being landed at the quay.

Bedroom 1(small)has 1 double bed (normal length but 4ft width instead of usual 4ft 6 ins width). Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. 1 single put-u-up & cot for bedroom 2. Large lounge/diner with T.V.,& DVD. Free WI-FI Internet . Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave & fridge. Outside utility room with a washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Downstairs bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet & washbasin. The cottage has a steep staircase.
