Under 1 mile to excellent Carlyon Bay beach. Free Admission to Charlestown Harbour & Beach. Charlestown is an interesting & working survival of a Georgian cornish village with an 18th century harbour, used for filming The Onedin Line. Most original buildings, cooperages, ropewalk, timber & clay stores remain.
