POLZEATH

Polzeath is a small village and is a tourist resort. It is near to Padstow  and not too far from Newquay and St Austell. It is in the parish of St Minver.   The Cornish name for Polzeath is Polsygh.   There are shops in Polzeath.
Sometimes a dolphin may be seen .

The famous poet Sir John Betjeman liked Polzeath.
Polzeath is approximatel half way down into Cornwall and so would be a good base for visiting other parts of Cornwall.  Many people like Bodmin Moor and this is quite near too.
The book series "the Famous Five"  has Polzeath mentioned as a holiday destination in one of the books.
