Teath is a village in North Cornwall. There is a shop and a
Office and an Inn. There is the impressive Clocktower War
Memorial. The Cornish name is Eglostedha. It is
approximately 7 miles from the town of Wadebridge.|
St Brychan was
not just a Welsh king but he was also a Saint and one of his children
was Saint Tethe. In the fifteenth Century AD the
rebuilt and the tower is partly Norman.
You are not far
from Bodmin Moor and are quite near some tourist places. St Teath like
many Cornish places uses a Saints name for the village.
