St Teath

St Teath is a village in North Cornwall.  There is a shop and a Post Office and an Inn.  There is the impressive Clocktower War Memorial.  The Cornish name is Eglostedha.  It is approximately 7 miles from the town of Wadebridge.
St Brychan was not just a Welsh king but he was also a Saint and one of his children was Saint Tethe.  In the fifteenth Century AD  the Church was rebuilt  and the tower is partly Norman.
You are not far from Bodmin Moor and are quite near some tourist places. St Teath like many Cornish places uses a Saints name for the village.
